If after practicing these skills, you want to delve even deeper into the world of not only puppeteering but the film industry then coaching is for you

You will also receive prerecorded lessons. These will have virtual tours of some of our puppeteers' personal home studios, to learn how to make your own puppeteering studio at home. 

What do we work on in coaching?

Typical subjects covered are

• This will be a deep dive into the world of Puppeteering

• Meditation and relaxation training, which is important for working long hours on movie and television sets

• Exercises that help build specific muscles in the arms and hands that are key in Puppeteering. You must keep your arm above your head for long periods. Puppeteers also open and close their hand thousands of times

• Ambidexterity training, to use both your left and right hand equally which puts you at the top of your craft. Imagine being able to operate a puppet just as good with your left hand as with your right hand. This skill comes in handy on a film set

• How movie and television sets operate. You will get a virtual tour of some of our sets. Learning how lighting, green screens, camera equipment, and lavalier microphones work. You will be able to ask questions, and get a grasp for entering the movie and television industry. You will be working with more than one of our artists over the course of your coaching.
