Grants Sweepstakes

Twice a year our studio is offering $500 up to $10,000 to aspiring Puppeteers. 

Requirements 

Send us a video explaining your dreams and aspirations within the world of puppeteering.

Your video should cover these topics at the minimum. 

Do you want to become a professional Puppeteer? Or is this just a hobby?

Do you wish to one day work for the Jim Henson Company, or another large scale puppeteering organization?

Do you want to create your own puppet show, puppet act, that is not connected to any organization? If so what are your ideas for this unique act? do you have anything figured out yet. What this will this look like? Use your imagination and tell us what you have in mind.

Do you want to be a film and television puppeteer, or a live show puppeteer?

Do you have any formal training in puppeteering. If so, what organization did you study with, and who were your instructors? 

What inspried you to enter into Puppeteer?

How many puppets do you own? Do you own any professional grade puppets? If so show us and explain where you got them.

Every year we will disperse 10 different grants to artists. Every video will be watched by our team. We will vote on which artists get a grant, and how much they will receive. How much the winers receive depends on the quality of the video sent to us. How big are your goals, how hard are you working towards them, is this a passion or just a hobby. How talented are you at what you are pursuing. Do you understand where you are, and where you are going. Do you have a detailed plan on how you will achieve your goals, and are you putting your whole heart and soul into it. All of this will come into play when we analyze the videos sent to us.  

Once every 3 months we will be holding a free sweepstakes. We will be giving away a professional grade puppet made by one of our puppet makers. We collaborate with some of the best puppet makers from all over the world

Requirements

All you have to do is go down to sweepstakes and tell us your favorite Puppet character. This can be from any show or movie. Why do you love that character. 

We will put every submission into a hat, and on the day of the drawing we will draw one name from the hat. We love doing things old school, so we will literally put every name into a physical hat and draw from it. The winner will be announced on our platforms.
